The Hub provides online services for use by organisations working with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).
These organisations are mainly colleges, training organisations and employers that have a funding agreement to provide education and training.
On the Hub, you can use data collections to send in your Individualised Learner Record (ILR) return. You can also search all learning aims, units, apprenticeships and associated validity and funding details to support the submission of your ILR.
Some of these areas require you to sign in to use them. You can Sign in at the top right of the screen.
In-year Qualification Achievement Rates for 2017 to 2018 now available
We have released the in-year Qualification Achievement Rate (QAR) data for 2017 to 2018 on both the Hub and through the Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards. The in-year QAR briefing and QAR webpage provide details about this data release and accessing the dashboard.
We have also published the QAR data extract guidance for 2017 to 2018 and the BI dashboard guidance on the QAR webpage.
To access the data, please ensure you have the correct IDAMS user access. Please see the IDAMS user guides for creating access or checking your user permissions.
If you have any questions, please contact the service desk.
Birst (My BI) will be decommissioned from 1st October 2018, therefore the dashboards will no longer be available from this point.
The Department for Education is committed to providing value for money and making use of the latest technology so that we can offer the most effective reporting tools and enhance the user experience. As a result we are introducing more effective technology for the delivery of dashboards and data to key partners in quarter one of 2019.
Between the time of Birst being decommissioned from 1 October 2018, and the new technology being available, we will provide you with interim solutions for each of our products.
• Qualification Achievement Rates – A replication of the current Dashboard in Excel with a comparable look and feel
• Funding Rules Monitoring (FRM) – An Excel extract of all the FRM tables
• Localism – A series of Excel tables with the data from the dashboard
We will be making these available using the current data already available in the existing dashboards. This is to ensure the interim solutions will be available before Birst is decommissioned and there is no loss in service. Your products will continue to be updated in alignment to the existing release schedule.
